What We Do
Athena Ed, LLC assists clients to develop, accredit, and implement state-of-the-art health care education programs, with a focus on learner-centered education and continuous quality improvement. We provide a personal and customized approach to empower our clients to achieve their mission and vision while meeting all accreditation standards and expectations.
Working with your faculty and resources, we will assist you with program planning or program reform, incorporating the latest in educational technology, developing and implementing rigorous outcomes assessment plans, and establishing sound processes for continuous quality improvement.
About the Principal
Athena Ed is led by Lynn M. Crespo, Ph.D., nationally recognized for educational leadership, innovative curriculum development, and accreditation success. With over 30 years of experience in medical education, Dr. Crespo has been noted by accrediting agencies for her attention to detail, well-prepared documents, and rigorous assessment programs.
As a faculty member and senior administrator, Dr. Crespo led the program development and accreditation process for two new state university medical schools: the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando, FL, (UCFCOM) and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Greenville, SC (USCSOMG). After graduating the charter class at USCSOMG and a 100% successful residency match for all students, Dr. Crespo founded Athena Ed, LLC in 2016. Since then, she has continued to assist new and existing schools through development and accreditation, re-accreditation, correction of adverse findings, and curriculum development and reform.
